The establishment of Seanchoill Sports Complex, Seanchoill All Weather Sports Pitch and Gym in 2007, provides the community of Corbally, Parteen, Meelick and Clonlara as well as the hinterland of Limerick City and East Clare with a full size floodlit astro turf Hurling/Football/Soccer pitch. This facility was created to serve the need emerging for local and regional sporting organisations requiring weather independent facilities for training, coaching and competitions.
The All-Weather Sports Pitch and associated dressing rooms/showers are now used regularly by local clubs, inter-county GAA developmental squads, societies etc. The facility is recognised as an excellent All-Weather Sports Pitch and experiences high demand during the winter months in particular.
Astro Turf pitches are booked on an hourly rate. Please see prices below:
- Daily Rate from €2 per person or €25 per section
- Pitch with lights can be booked for €45 per section
- Full Size GAA Pitch for 1 hour including lights: €150
- Full Size Soccer Pitch for 1 hour including lights: €100
- Full Size Soccer Pitch for 1 hour without lights: €50
